Add Helpawy to Wix
Put your agent on every page of your Wix site using Custom Code. Wix needs your site to be published on a connected domain, which comes with a Premium plan.
Steps
Copy your snippet
In Helpawy, open your agent’s Install tab and copy the code. Your agent’s own key is already in it.

On the same tab, under “Where it can appear”, add your Wix site’s address. The chat only shows on websites listed there. www. and the bare address count as different websites, so add both if you use both.
Open Custom Code
In your Wix dashboard, go to Settings > Development & integrations > Custom Code, and select + Add Custom Code.
Paste and place it
Paste the code, choose All pages, set the place to Body - end, and select Apply.
Check it’s working
Open your website in a new window. The chat button appears in the corner of every page. Ask it a question to try it.
Troubleshooting
- The chat button doesn’t appear.
- Check your website’s exact address is listed under “Where it can appear”, including www. if you use it, and that you published your site after adding the code.
- I changed my domain and the chat disappeared.
- Wix removes custom code when you change your site’s primary domain. Add the snippet again, and add the new address to your agent.
- Can’t add code at all?
- Share your agent’s own link instead: it works without installing anything.
